Call for Participants: Online Workshop for the SEA DREAM Program

The DOST-PCHRD is pleased to share about an upcoming opportunity in health research. The Developing Research Excellence and Mentorship in Southeast Asia (SEA DREAM) Program is implemented by the SEAMEO Secretariat in strategic partnership with Wellcome and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

SEA DREAM aims to fund regional consortia to conduct high-quality discovery and translational research that addresses national and regional health priorities, as well as emerging issues, specifically in the areas of (1) infectious diseases, (2) impacts of climate change in health, (3) mental health, (4) health systems. To further strengthen the relevance of the program and to foster collaboration in the Southeast Asia region, the Thailand Science Research and Innovation (TSRI), Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) , and the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD), as national partners to the SEA DREAM Program, are hosting a workshop on March 5, 2026, at 1 to 4  PM (GMT+7) for Thai, Indonesian and Filipino researchers interested to network, collaborate and/or submit a proposal.
