Spurring kids’ growth with CGF and taurine

What are CGF and taurine? CGF or Chlorella Growth Factor promotes physical growth in children and taurine is an amino acid that helps in the development of the brain and nervous system of children.

These two nutrients, when put together, make up the most potent combination, which spurs growth in the physical and mental faculties of children.

Sydenham Laboratories Inc. has combined CGF and taurine in its new variant, Jus’ 4 Kids Plus, to ensure that children get the best health benefits from the beverage.

It is also fortified with vitamins A, C, E, B1, B3, zinc, and iodine — micronutrients that help improve the growth and immune system of children.

“It used to be that we had CGF in the orange-flavored Zoom! Growth enhancer while the mango-flavored IQ tonic brain booster had taurine. We have now combined CGF and taurine in both flavors so that children who prefer to drink just one flavor can have both CGF and taurine not to mention vitamins A, C, E, B1, B3, zinc, and iodine. These improved variants now come in bigger packs,” said Nina Peña, sales and marketing manager of Sydenham Laboratories.

One of the experts who actively took part in the formulation of Jus’ 4 Kids is Dr. Rodolfo Florentino, chairman and president of the Nutrition Foundation of the Philippines.

Jus’ 4 Kids has been approved by the Department of Health, through its Sangkap Pinoy Seal Program, and the Bureau of Food and Drug.
